WHAT IS YOUR SPECIALITY?
I feel comfortable doing anything. I love photography. I do not do boudoir but other than that, I do it all! My favorites are definitely seniors. (Hints my senior team!!)
HOW DO I BOOK?
Pick the package you prefer and location you have in mind first. Then, email me or click the "contact me" page and give me some details. (Date in mind, package you want, locations in mind and any visions you have.) Next, wait for me to reach back out to you then I will send you your invoice, contract and any more questions I have to make it the best session possible!
HOW MUCH IS YOUR DEPOSIT?
I require 20% for weddings and regular sessions but 50% is due for minis. The baby plan and senior team have their own pricing set up.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
ABSOLUTELY!
I understand budgeting in my own personal life. You pay the 20% when you book and the rest is due the day of the session!
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS? HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS? DO I GET PRINTS AS WELL?
Images are delivered up to three weeks after your session takes place. You will receive your gallery from Zenfolio by a link through your email. No, you do not receive prints or products but after you receive your gallery you have the opportunity to purchase more images and/or products such as prints, books and enlargements. (Weddings take up to three months.)
WHAT ADDITIONS CAN BE MADE TO MY PACKAGE?
It is $15 per extra location and outfit. If your session location is more than 50 miles outside of Limestone County then there will be a $20 additional charge. You also have the opportunity to purchase to prints, albums, etc. It is also important to take note of how many images your package offers, if you would like more than the amount you are to receive, each image is $1.50.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
- Neutrals such as blush, tans, link pinks, faint blues and teals, creams, grays and whites will always result in more of a light and airy look to your images. These colors photograph softer and more romantically!
- If you’re really looking for a soft, feminine look, I recommend a flowing, maxi-length dress or skirt! The movement of this type of fabric photographs beautifully!
- We recommend a more formal outfit and a more casual one, so that you have plenty of variety to choose from later!
- The goal is COORDINATING outfits instead of MATCHING! We also recommend avoiding both of you wearing WHITE as a top. White doesn’t allow for any contrast in your images.
- Guys, we recommend that you avoid patterns that are smaller than a dime! These small patterns can create strange visual effects in a digital camera. Close-toed shoes photograph well, and we recommend avoiding graphic tees and tennis shoes!
- Gals, we recommend that you wear something that flatters the parts of you that you love the most and also allows you to be extremely confident! If you are uncomfortable when you look in the mirror (having to suck in and only like the way you look from one angle), then that probably isn’t the best outfit choice for you. We want you to be really confident in your outfit, because we know that you will love your portraits so much more if you’re not worrying about how your clothes fit!
- Please keep in mind that you will probably have to change in your car when doing multiple changes.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH POSING!
I understand completely. Pictures are often awkward. I always come with poses in mind and will move you to the pose that I am picturing. There are times that I have images on my phone to help us as well! You are not alone when it comes to posing.
HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE? WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR THE SESSION TO TAKE PLACE?
You ultimately dictate everything. I always recommend shooting at sunrise or sunset! There is a time limit that is based on your package but sometimes, things happen.
DO I HAVE TO USE ONE OF THE LOCATIONS ON THE LOCATION PAGE OR CAN I RECOMMEND MY OWN? DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
We can shoot wherever YOU desire! I do have a page on my website that shows my work at different locations in North Alabama. If you have another location in mind, please let me know. I am always open to suggestions and expanding my work space. I have also shot at Delano Park of Decatur, Historic Mooresville, Huntsville Botanical Gardens, Nashville, UNA and Birmingham Botanical Gardens. I enjoy finding new locations and having the best scenery for my client. If there are any "photographer fees" or "admission fees" then the client must pay for this. When choosing, I always say to make sure the shade is nice.
Sadly, I do not have a studio YET. I do have access to one if needed though.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MINI AND REGULAR SESSION?
Minis are seasonal and only offered on specific dates. They are also at a lower price. Regular sessions are offered whenever and are not as limited to images, time and locations.
HOW WELL DO YOU WORK WITH KIDS? DO YOU ALLOW PETS? DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS?
I have a toddler of my own, so yes, I feel like I work very well with kids! I also work well with young kids + husbands that don't particularly like photos so I work to make it go smoothly! I do allow pets- all of the fur babies are welcomed! I do have some props but not a lot. I am continuing to build my collection. It's always good to ask and if I don't have it, you're welcome to bring your own.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL DEALS?
Yes! There are seasonal minis that are cheaper than a "regular" session. There is the senior team that can be joined! It is the best option when wanting to fully capture your senior year. I always offer Cyber Monday deals where you can bundle multiple minis for a lower price.
WHY ARE YOUR PRICES "SO HIGH"?
This question is one that truly troubles photographers.
I have my prices the way they are to pay for gas, occasional childcare and the work at the session then at home editing. I don't work a normal 9-5 and my job is an income.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS/BAD WEATHER/RESCHEDULES/BEING LATE?
Cancellations: There is non-refundable deposit but you will receive the rest of your payment back or not be charged. I hate cancellations...let's try to reschedule instead! I ask that you let me know at least 1-2 hours before your shoot is to take place.
Bad Weather: No one can control the weather...unfortunately. I have begged God to change it before. Cloudy is best for pictures but when it takes a step further to storm, we have to reschedule. I try to not make that decision until about an hour before.
Reschedules: These happen! I ask that you let me know at least 1-2 hours before your shoot is to take place. We will work to reschedule based on my availability. You cannot reschedule more than two times (besides weather issues).
Being Late: I do not wait longer than 20 minutes. If you are more than 20 minutes late, I will message you and then make the decision. The time that is taken up will cut into your session.
CAN I ORDER PRINTS/ALBUMS THROUGH YOU?
Yes! Albums are an additional cost if you choose to purchase one. You can make the addition before or after the wedding! You will design the album without doing any of the hard work. You will let me know the images that you would like included and I will put it together for you. Once the design is approved, I will order it for you!
